Day 1: PARO-THIMPHU ( 55 Km,2 Hrs)

  • Arrive in Paro airport and drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. In the evening, leisure time in town. Overnight stay at hotel in Thimphu.

Day 2: THIMPHU

  • Whole day sightseeing in Thimphu visiting popular tourist attractions. Overnight stay at hotel in Thimphu.

Day3: THIMPHU-PHOBJIKHA/GANGTEY ( 135 Km , 6 Hrs)

  • Drive to Phobjikha ,winter residence of the Black necked cranes via Dochula ,one of the highest passes where in a clear weather you will see the eastern Himalayan ranges. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtey.

Day 4: PHOBJIKHA/GANGTEY

  • Whole day sightseeing hike in Phobjikha and visit Gangtey Gompa. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtey.

Day 5: PHOBJIKHA/GANGTEY – BUMTHANG ( 188 Km , 7 Hrs)

  • Drive to Bumthang through Trongsa town and cross the two of the highest passes , Pelela and Yotongla Passes. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and pristine nature.

Day 6: BUMTHANG / JAMBAY LHAKHANG DRUP (1st Day)

  • Wholeday sightseeing and visit the most popular temples in the country like Jambay Lhakhag, Kurje Lhakhang and Tamzhing Lhakhang.
  • First evening’s program begins around 07.00 pm, with the “Jinsi” the burning of the sacred fire.

Day 7: JAMBAY LHAKHANG DRUP ( 2nd Day)

  • Begins around 9.30 in the morning with a “chipdrel” traditional reception. The Astara (clown) welcomes the audience and the marchang ceremony. Mask dances begin

Day 8: JAMBAY LHAKHANG DRUP (3rd Day)

  • Atsara (clown) dance Dola Pangtoy
  • Shazam
  • Shana Phurcham with Durda
  • Shana Ngacham
  • Lunch break
  • Ging & Tsholing Cham (the dance of the sacred war between the Gods and the Demons)
  • Tsecho Gingcham (Tercham) Damitse Ngacham (The famous drum beat dance originating from Dramitse)
  • Pholey Moley Cham

Dat 9: JAMBAY LHAKHANG DRUP (4th Day)

  • Chungtsam Cham
  • Gicham
  • Dorling Ngacham (Tercham of Terchen Dorjilingpa)
  • Raksha Gocham
  • Lunch Break.
  • Raksha Mangcham (this dance symbolizes Life after death, at the court of the Lord of the Dead.)
  • Ten Wang (Blessings from the sacred statue of Terton Dorjilingpa)

Day 10 : BUMTHANG – TRONGSA ( 68 Km, 3 Hrs)

  • Morning some more sightseeing and drive to Trongsa. After Lunch visit the Ta-Dzong and the Trongsa Dzong (fortress). Overnight stay at hotel in Trongsa.

Day 11: TRONGSA-PUNAKHA (142 Km, 6 ½ Hrs)

  • Arrive in Thimphu city and explore evening and nightlife. Overnight stay at hotel in Thimphu.

Day 12: PUNAKHA-PARO (143 Km, 5 Hrs)

  • Visit the most beautiful Dzong (fortress) of Bhutan, the Punakha Dzong and the temple of the Divine Madman, Chhimi Lhakhang.After lunch in a restaurant drive to Paro. Overnight stay at hotel in Paro.

Day 13: PARO

  • Hike up to the famous Tiger’s Nest in the morning and after lunch visit other popular tourist attractions. Overnight stay at hotel in Paro

Day 14: PARO DEPART

  • After breakfast , drive to Paro airport for onward destination
